Pickleball Country Club

I play all over the Houston area. Pickleball Country Club is my favorite club to play at, and here is why; Great location, lots of parking, very nice facility, awesome courts (13), a few have obstructions, easy on the body court surface, easy navigation, nice fencing, good ceiling height, soundproofing in the ceiling that lowers the decibel level, like no other facility I have played at. They have a skill-based open play system that works really well. Local owners who are on site daily. Waiting areas, plenty of TVs, very nice restrooms with lockers and showers. Big bar area with plenty of beverage selections, with many TVs and seating. Fully stocked pro shop. The top pro instructors in Houston and an attentive staff. The open play days and hours the club offers are the most open play days and hours in Houston as of the writing. Members and players are the nicest. You can always find great games and competition. This club has senior play days, clinics, leagues, and tournaments. Membership is priced very reasonably and is open to both members and non-members (for a fee), and is available every day. Courts can be reserved by the hour, and the club can be rented for private events. What I like most is that I can play a game any day at the time I want, with the skill level I choose, and with the nicest players!

Awesome courts and great amenities. I really appreciate the thought and care that went into this pickleball club. Plenty of areas to relax and socialize between games and good sound dampening. But, the best part is the people here. Their instructors are always around and give excellent tips and pointers to anyone who wants them. 10/10

PBCC is a very clean, very spacious and very friendly facility. We've been playing here once a week since the beginning of this year and it is extremely clean each time we go. There are a lot of courts and they are all spacious. The lounges are very useful. The bathrooms are always clean and there are showers. Water stations are available. The bar serves alcohol. The parking is NEVER a problem. The staff are always so helpful, informative, accommodating and friendly. We love PBCC even if it is 45 minutes from our home. Thank God it's only 15 minutes from our workplaces.

Probably our favorite indoor facility in Houston. Clean, friendly and well-organized. And they have a bar ! Good level of play and really friendly owners. Plenty of courts in their renovated warehouse space and they’re deluxe- real fences and nice courts. Get with the Club !

The facility is nice, but beware when you play in their tournaments. I played in the 3.0-3.5 tournament this week and they refused to announce how much the cash prize was for first place. We asked and they told us they would announce it later, which they never did. My partner and I placed first and the prize was $200 ($100 each), second place was 2 Joola paddles (1 Aggasi and 1 Hyperion Pro IV), and third place was 2 $50 Gringos gift cards. The paddles are worth over $400 and should have been awarded to the first place team if they knew the cash prize was so low. I talked to Bobbie, the COO, and she said not enough people signed up and that they are losing money by holding the tournament. I explained that the paddles were worth more and if we could switch, but she said no and that it is what it is. I spoke to the other participants and they were shocked by the prizes. Common sense tells you that first place should get the best prize, but apparently that isn’t the case at PBCC. If any of the owners want to reach out to me and make this right, that would be great.
