Montlake Playfield Park

Accidentally found this park and like it immediately. Good kid play area and pretty big field. Saw a bald eagle clean itself next the water. There are trees to block sun in the hot summer.

Beautiful and peaceful park! Montlake Playfield is a great spot to relax, enjoy the sunshine, or take a walk. The open green space is perfect for picnics or watching geese wander through the daisies. There’s also a clean and well-marked hopscotch court and other play areas for kids. It’s quiet, well-maintained, and a lovely escape in the middle of the city. Highly recommend for families or anyone looking for a calm outdoor space!

Wonderful park by the water with a newly restored playground as well as tennis courts, baseball field and treck

Decent community park with a big lawn and several athletic amenities. I ran past by the park several times through the trail to Montlake Bridge and I-90 Bridge. It's always pretty peaceful and quiet here, maybe a little too much so. The trail can use a little bit better maintenance.

Great place right across water from UW and secluded amongst the city. Has water front trails (and views), as well as open fields, playground, tennis courts, football field. Relaxing by water, even with events on the other side.
