Lifetime Activities - Santa Clara

We have been trying group classes in different locations and with different clubs. Lifetime activities in Santa Clara is ok If you pay for the kids to have fun and move around. In group classes, kids are given few to none directions/corrections, one of the coaches was often looking at his mobile phone. I don’t have big expectations about group classes vs private lessons but this one was not very engaging, hard to see an improvements path.
No posted signage detailing rules. We played pickleball and it was an empty court, someone still kicked us out aggressively
The Santa Clara Tennis Center offers 8 newly resurfaced lit courts, with open/free play on weekdays 12-4pm and weekends 6pm-10pm. Court lights are on until 10pm and there is a full size hitting wall that remains lit until 10:15pm. The courts are managed 8am-10pm, and year-round tennis programs are available for the community youth and adults. The SCTC offers academy-quality tennis instruction at municipal prices, with a tennis Pro-Shop that is staffed on a full time basis, and programming so that local community's can learn and enjoy the game of tennis without having to become a member of a private tennis facility or country club. The Pro-Shop provides a retail solution, racket stringing, ball machine rental, demo program and a drink or snack bar for convenience. The bleachers have been renovated and the city is in the process of getting a shade solution for spectators.
I Courts are nice. But some staff/coach member is extremely rude. Having couple balls crossing our court reaching the other side and got yelled at by a couch named Peter aggressively. Literally physically crossing our court and walked into our face(less than 6 feet) and tell us to stop doing that….wow, that shouldn’t be the spirit of tennis…such a shame this guy can be a coach regardless of his skill set.
If you are considering a private tutor, skip Martin. He seldom comes to the court on time. You have to remove someone who occupying the court by yourself before Martin comes to the court. He always shows off his skills but does not help too much on improving learner’s skills. I also observed that most of his students are beginners.
