The park features well-kept trails for walking and jogging, offering scenic views of nature. The playground is enjoyable for kids, and the picnic areas are perfect for gatherings. However, it could benefit from more shaded spots and additional amenities like water fountains. Overall, a fantastic park for families and nature enthusiasts to explore and unwind.
The sound level was peaceful. Even when it was crowded, the place didn’t feel noisy or chaotic.
I reside in the Juliette Fowler Community which abuts the park. I take a daily walk(weather permitting), sit on the bench at the pavilion, continue to the featured swings and slide area which is often filled with children. Out of my my windows I witness dog walkers, joggers, cyclist and activities of Woodrow Wilson high school. I look forward to each years fun event held on the national Night Out evening in October. The park is a treasure to this ole 91 year old neighbor. Richard Kimbrough
This is a nice park/athletic complex, the only problem I can see is the poor up keep.
