WilCo Pickleball Court

Great courts that are new. Management of the courts is poor. Only 6 courts that are always busy with people sitting on the basketball court waiting for a pickleball court to open. Not worth having to pay $2 just to waste time sitting in the sun (no shade) when we are already paying taxes to fund the park. Interestingly, the tennis courts are free to use and almost always open. The park prohibits playing pickleball on the tennis courts just to make sure they get their money. They have an online reservation system, but that does not allow for selection of time or court to reserve. So, it is still first come, first serve but pay to play.

Good pickleball place. Courts are brand new and clean. Standard queue system to play. There is a fee to play with $2/day pass, or $50/year. You can pay via QR code scan on phone. There is no challenge court unfortunately. Plenty of free parking and easy to get to. Lighting is decent.

Decent courts. Unfortunately whoever designed these courts must have never stepped outside during the months of May - August. They also may not be familiar with the concept of sitting down. Add SOME shade, people are sitting along the fence near the wind guards hoping to catch a hint of shade. Also consider adding a metal bench under said shade, I'm not asking for luxury, a cheap alluminum / wood bench and some shade is all we need. It's borderline inhumane to build a giant concrete fenced area with ZERO shade and ZERO places to sit (except 130F floor) in a city that gets 40+ consecutive triple digit heat days. So I guess if you dont mind paying $2 per person to sit on an oven while you cook through UV, then I suppose these are the courts for you.

Pickleball courts are nice and the people are friendly.

Great place for sports and court is clean.
