Whidbey Pickle Barn

The Pickle Barn is a fantastic facility. Lots of margin on base line and side court. Court surface is top quality, The benches and baskets to put your personal belongings, super nice bathroom, drinking fountain, water bottle filler, these guys went above and beyond!! Highly recommend the Pickle Barn in Freeland on Whidbey island. We’ll be back even if we’re not going to the Island for any other reason!!!

The Pickle Barn is a premier facility and a pickleball lovers dream. I have played in many indoor facilities but this one is by far my favorite. My only regret is that I live 2 hrs away! They have professional floors and nets with amazing lighting so you can see clearly at any time of day. My family and I were visiting Whidbey Island over the weekend and stumbled upon this gem. Our group enjoyed our time playing pickleball here. We were even able to meet Paul the owner in person. He was so down to earth and made us feel right at home. If you’re looking for a place to grow your skills, or even just a community to have fun with, this is the place to be. Looking forward to the next time we can come here again.

Wonderful place to play PB! I am new to the game and have felt welcomed and very supported in learning and improving. Paul and Abi are wonderful hosts, teachers, and cheerleaders! The Honcho league provides a fun, safe opportunity for competitive play. I have played at other indoor courts, but the Barn’s courts are great — bright lights, clean lines, nice surface.

This is a WONDERFUL new facility on the South end of Whidbey. Two courts with permanent lines plenty of space behind the serving line in both sides. I joined an open play session and it was healthy competition. Definitely check this place out ASAP!
