West Reading Playground Program

The WR playground/rec area is amazing. It has the magnificent pool as it's anchor, pickle ball, basket ball, disc Frisbee, bikes for rent, walking path, track, a baseball field (I wish Little League would use), free outdoor exercise equipment, and a sheltered pavilion. Everything is so well maintained. I'm sure other small communities would love to have all this in their backyard!

Free fun for the little ones. Located next to the West Reading fire station.

This is really a nice playground for many reasons. It has a basketball court and tennis court, and a nice playground area for the kiddos. It's a popular playground.

I like to walk the track around the baseball field and use the workout equipment. The children's playground equipment is for kids 5 years and older. There is another playground for younger children that has swings and slides just a block away-right beside the fire station. There is a pavilion that you can rent and it also has bathrooms (only open when renting pavilion) that are wheelchair accessible from below the road. The park also provides poop bags for people walking their dogs and there are plenty of trash cans around. Also, a great place to fly a kite.

Great place to go. The kids can play while you walk/run the track or do the outdoor exercise machines. Very clean and usually quiet
