It's not too bad of a place. I play volleyball here as part of the Pittsburgh Sports League in the summer. Of course it gets very hot, and they don't like leaving the doors open for the giant fan to circulate the outside air. The staff are polite and respectful, as far as I've seen.
The road up to the parking lot is pretty damaged, so be careful when parking there. Playground is medium sized, gross looking sprinkler that runs all day, my son loved it. Fairly private, as not many people seem to use it often. Some garbage and broken glass around perimeter, be careful with young ones
This is a community recreation center in the city of Pittsburgh. The Center has an outdoor pool, a weight/fitness room and a gym. Parking is also available. Building was remodeled in the last 10 years. Nice little center.
The people working there are very nice but you should know that upon your first use of the facility (even through other sports leagues) you will have to spend about five minutes completing a membership form and getting an ID tag. Show up a little early for this.
