W.D. Hill Recreation Center

All the staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming. So many things for kids to do here. Game room, playground, gym. I bring my boys here and the staff has no problem coming out from their desks and lowering the basketball hoop, pulling out balls for them to play with, getting a toddler hoop out the closet for my 1 year old to practice his dunks. The director even comes out his office to say hello to you, play a game of ping pong with you, and ask about programs you'd like to see offered. We love coming here!

I started back teaching Soul Line Dance classes at W.D. Hill on Thursday, May 14, 2022 at 6:30 pm. The recreation center was closed during COVID and for renovations. The building looks great inside and outside!! Very modern look. I enjoyed seeing former and new students in class!! We had a great time!!

TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE. THEY WERE SO NICE AND WELCOMING ON THE PHONE. BUT DIFFERENT STORY UPFRONT. BROUGHT MY 2 BOYS THERE HEARING THEY HAVE ALOT OF ACTIVITIES FOR KIDS AND ADULTS. WENT IN AND SPOKE TO A GENTLEMAN NAMED BILLY AT THE FRONT DESK. HE WAS TOTALLY UNPROFESSIONAL NO GREETING. SAYING THAT THEY HAD NO ACTIVITIES AVAILABLE DUE TO CAMP IN THE BUILDING. AND SAID THE BASKETBALL GYM WAS ONLY BEING OFFERED TO THE KIDS ONLY FROM 4:30 PM -5:30PM. AND WENT ON 2 SAY THAT NO PARENTS ON THE COURT. NO REBOUNDS. NO PASSING. NOT CLOSE TO THE COURT. AT ALL. I FELT LIKE HE WAS BEING VERY DISMISSIVE. I REGRET BRINGING MY BOYS THERE TO EXPERIENCE THAT FROM YOUR BUILDING. BUT GOD BLESS YOUR PEOPLE THOUGH.

It has large basketball court,very neat and clean place for resting and playing.

This is such a wonderful place, with such kind customer service! They went out of their way to help me to find the parking lot, even coming outside to show me the side street to turn into. Thank you for being so welcoming! And the African dance class is an absolute treasure. What incredible teachers, what great drummers, what beautiful dancers in the class. Such a special experience. How lucky we are for this to be offered so generously.
