Great place for beginners to advanced players. Take a lesson or join a clinic. I run them. Everyone is very friendly. Come out and join the fun. The players there are very welcoming.

Was just walking through Chestnut Hill after getting Starbucks when I found this place. There were kids getting ready to play a late baseball game...didn't stay for that tho. Was just nice to see the kids and parents out. While leaving, I read the plaque on the actual water tower that I believed was built in 1859. Not really a review I guess. Other than that, the main baseball field itself was perfect and there was a space close to the field that had a little play area as well.

Wow. I was very impressed with the condition of the two baseball fields behind the recreation center. The field lawns were well manicured and the infield dirt was perfect for sliding. The operators of the facility have done a fantastic job on these fields! As a heads up, there is no parking lot at Water Tower Recreation Center. Parking is done alongside the surrounding facility. It can be a bit challenging to find parking on busy days. Directly across from the recreation center are a tennis a pickleball courts that are used regularly. This is why parking can be a little challenging at times. Water Tower is an old school recreation center, but it has kept up with the times and is a busy, bustling, little facility. I would definitely keep it on my check it out radar if you have children and are looking for a place to take them for fun and to be active and involved in things.

Went to play in an open game of volleyball. It was really small. Was hoping that they'd have more than one court but I liked that they had benches lining the walls so there was no shortage of space to keep our things and be seated. Kind of in a seedy part of the neighborhood but all around it was a nice place.

Small little playground with nothing but shade. First neighborhood playground I’ve been too with my little one that had a lot of other parents with little babies. The other parents were super friendly too. I really liked that.
