If you are in a pickle about where to have an awesome time, great food, and some fitness definitely check this out!!! We had an amazing team building event here and there is something for everyone. Enjoy pickle ball courts both indoor and outdoor, music, big screen TV, full bar multi-level entertainment. Pets are welcome outside. Local shops close by. The service was top notch and the price point is great for the portions you get.
Not a bad vibe. Huge establishment with plenty of bars both upstairs and downstairs. Whether you play pickle bar or not, you will find something to do here. Bartender are super efficient and friendly. They have a bunch of vintage arcade games to play for free. Played a couple of super Mario rounds, as well as Galatica. Upstairs they have pool tables with board games to choose from. Plenty of seating options from benches, tables to couch like seating. Didn't try any of the food but from what I saw, plenty of people were enjoying the food. Lots of seating outside for those sunny enjoyable days. Not a bad experience and wouldn't mind visiting again if in the area.
Edit! We came back on New Year's Day to play some pool, lunch, and watch some football. We had more excellent wings, chips, and the super quesadilla (excellent pork per my BIL) with our larger group. Note that ordering a side of the amazing refried black beans also means MORE chips LOL so we ended up with a ton. The music seemed to be at a more reasonable volume during this visit, and we did receive check-ins by the wait staff, although I did go down to ask for soda refills since obtaining them while upstairs wasn't as clear. The iced matcha cranberry I ordered was a very earth matcha but made well. I continue to love the overall vibes. Other note: if you have a gift card, you'll need to cash out at the bar. Keep up the great work Tipsy Pickle! Original: This was my first visit to Camp North End and we decided to circle back to the Tipsy Pickle for some lunch after browsing the shops. Granted, there aren't a ton of shops and the maps are a little confusing, but still overall a good wander and vibe. We opted to just have lunch after our warm walk 🥵 and shared very reasonably priced wings and chips with salsa. We loved being able to scan the menu to order and cash out our tab later. Both items came out very quickly, although no one offered us any plates and we were only provided a few napkins. We opted for a coke and an unsweetened Arnold Palmer palmer to drink, which arrived first. I should have asked about the tea used for the Arnold Palmer as it may have had artificial sweeteners which I'm not a huge fan of personally. We enjoyed hanging out and would love to come back to play some pool or maybe even try out playing pickle ball itself. There are also some arcade machines scattered about and lots of varied seating indoors and out. Cons: the music was very loud and no one asked us if we needed anything once they left the food. That being said, we'd definitely like to come back. I loved seeing a diverse clientele.
I am reviewing solely based on the food/drinks, as I have not played any pickleball here. Let me start with the iced vanilla shaken espresso, 10/10. It amazes me how every time I go in for this drink, it is ALWAYS the perfect ratio of espresso, milk, and syrup. I can’t say that about any other coffee place that I have tried. I also recently tried one of their holiday alcoholic drinks, I believe it was called “You serious Clark?”. One of my favorite Christmas movie references, and the drink tasted like Christmas!! Lastly, their smash burger is wonderful. I tried it last week after a recommendation and it did not disappoint. It’s probably the last thing I would have originally ordered from a Tex-Mex restaurant, but now it’ll be my go to food order! This establishment has been a great addition to the Camp North End community. I will continue to visit often and look forward to trying more of their menu items!!
I’ve only eaten here, but it was good! The food came out relatively fast - although I think the meals sat at the pass for a bit. The supreme crunchwrap is something I would specifically come back for. I also really appreciated their vegan chorizo. It was a seasoned quinoa and much better than any meat substitute. Plus, there was no up charge for getting it.
