The Picklr McKinney

Picklr needs some fine tuning in their gameplay policies and bookings. I signed up for a month to get a feel for their indoor game. I’ve enjoyed the play. The facility is great for winter indoor play although loud acoustics could be dimmed down some. The open play is a chaotic experience with players trying to decide who’s next up. Paddle stacking is vertical (indoor image) vs horizontal (outdoor image) creating a high traffic point when trying to grab your paddle. Also open play requires booking on their online App. Which you can never get a place to play because you are able to book 2 weeks in advance even if you don’t show. Once courts are full you are SOL. Also you need a ranking to play/book on certain courts. Broken business processes creating an undesirable experience overall. If they fix this I’ll be back but until then I’ll be discontinuing my membership for the foreseeable future.

Absolutely great experience at Picklr McKinney! The facility is clean, well-maintained, and has a great atmosphere whether you’re new to pickleball or play competitively. The courts are in excellent shape, and the staff is friendly, welcoming, and very helpful. Open play is well organized, and it’s easy to jump in and meet other players. This location really does a great job building a fun and positive pickleball community. Highly recommend to anyone looking to play in the McKinney area!

We celebrated my daughter’s birthday at the Picklr and had an amazing time! The place is clean, organized, and so much fun. The staff and the manager were absolutely wonderful — friendly, helpful, and made sure we had everything we needed for a smooth and enjoyable event. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a fun and welcoming place to host a celebration! --- Want it shorter, more enthusiastic, or more formal?

The wife and I really enjoy the Picklr. the staff are all great these days and the courts are in fantastic shape. We have been members for about 6mo now and have met many new folks to play with. Highly recommend giving couch Jeremy a shot. We have enjoyed many sessions with him and will be back for more.

I recently Participated in a Tournament at this facility and I can honestly say the experience was exceptional. Kevin Was so professional and answered all my questions in a timely matter prior to the Tournament date. I am already looking forward to the next tournament at this facility.!
