The Dome

Checked out The Dome San Jose and honestly, this spot has a lot of potential. It’s tucked just on the outskirts of downtown SJ and feels like a low-key hangout you can actually relax in. They’ve got plenty of billiards tables, a solid lineup of arcade games, and tons of TVs if you’re trying to catch a game. Big plus: there’s security on site and a couple of staff members around, so it feels safe and well-managed. The main highlight though? Two pickleball courts indoors, which is rare. They even have a camera setup that shows game highlights, which is a really nice touch — great for players who want to review clips or just have fun watching rallies back. The lighting is clean and well done, definitely adds to the vibe. Owner is super cool and welcoming, you can tell they care about the space and the community. Overall, this place feels like it’s just getting started, but the foundation is there. If you’re into sports, games, or pickleball, this is a spot worth checking out.

The Dome is a great indoor pickleball spot for all pickle addicts! The facility is super clean and spacious, with two really nice courts, installed cameras to capture highlights of all your best plays (SUPER COOL!) plus tons of extra fun things to do like pool tables, arcade games, and ping pong. They provide pickleballs, which is a great bonus, and there's security on site so you feel safe the whole time. On to the important stuff: the pricing is super competitive!!! Court reservations are only $28-36 per hour per court, and the membership can't be beat at just $10/month or $100/year with no initiation fee. Literally unheard of. I had so much fun playing that I wanted to have a holiday pickleball party here, and they helped make it happen even on short notice! They set up tables and coolers for us and added a cute custom sign, which made everything feel extra special. The turn out was great, overall vibes were immaculate, it was truly such a special occasion! Highly recommend everyone checking out The Dome, it's affordable, indoors & Tri (the owner) is a super friendly & cool guy. Thanks Tri for accommodating us! Great indoor facility in San Jose & and open until midnight. The Dome is clean, spacious, and well organized. The pickleball courts are well lined with great lighting, and there’s plenty of room to play comfortably. The lounge area with pool tables and seating is a nice bonus. Friendly staff, easy check-in, and convenient hours make this a perfect spot for evenings or bad weather.

It’s great to see more late night venues opening up in downtown(ish) that isn't a bar or club. I am sure the pickleball players love the light, but man, in the pool table side it feels way too bright. Regardless they are new and just opened so I am sure they will figure out the vibe. The tables are new, level and fast, the sticks are straight, and the pricing model (at least the current membership rate + open play) is a great deal. If they keep this pricing for early members I will probably never cancel my membership. Failed to mention before, this place does not serve food, so you are welcome to bring your own food/drinks. There is also a flock/gathering/horde (not sure the right word) of taco trucks right next door, so really ideal spot. Vending machines inside have some nice options. They also have a security guard there, so hopefully will keep the drama low since they are so close to Denny's (IYKYK). *updated* - Fixed grammar mistake (silly iphone) - expanded on review - Visited another time, really good mid day vibes with the skylights, again I encourage some dimming of the artificial light on the pool hall side - Happy to report they have bridges now - Thanks owner for reading the review and replying - always good to see engagement.

I came to The Dome SJ to play pickleball… somehow I’ve been here almost every day for the last 3 weeks 😂. Clean indoor courts, a great spot to sweat, laugh, and pretend we’re “just playing one more game.” At this point, it’s basically our group’s second home. Highly recommend 🏓😆
