The Courts McKinney Pickleball and Tennis Center

I have a vast array of personal and professional experiences with The Courts of McKinney and their leadership. I have been so impressed by the professionalism, humility, and generosity of Matt Hanlin. As the leader of the local chapter of Buddy Up Pickleball, I have witnessed first hand his team's reflection of his leadership. Melissa and the coaches have given excellent and attentive instruction to our players on all levels. No matter what need arises while we are there, they are quick to help, always going above and beyond in the most friendly way. Furthermore their organization and community involvement during PPA were first notch. The grounds, the staff, and the vibe communicate you are welcome here because of their attention to detail and to each person who walks through the doors.

Absolutely love this pickleball facility! The courts are beautiful — well maintained, plenty of space to play, the pro shop has everything you could possibly need, from paddles to apparel, and the staff is always friendly and helpful. A special shoutout to Parker, the pickleball pro — he’s fantastic and takes great team photos to boot! Whether you’re just starting out or looking to fine-tune your game, Parker is the one to learn from. Hands down one of the best places around to play pickleball!

The courts and the McKinney tennis program have played a huge role in my development as a player, helping me improve drastically over time. My coach, Garrett, has been an incredible mentor—he is extremely dedicated, patient, and knowledgeable, always taking the time to explain techniques and strategies in detail. His guidance has helped me refine my skills, build confidence on the court, and reach levels I didn’t think were possible before. In addition to Garrett’s coaching, participating in McKinney’s High-Performance Tennis Program has been an amazing experience. The program is very well-structured and pushes players to perform at their best, offering challenging drills, competitive match play, and opportunities to improve every aspect of the game. I’ve seen noticeable growth in my consistency, agility, and overall tennis IQ since joining. Overall, both the coaching and the program have been essential in my development, and I would highly recommend them to anyone serious about improving their tennis skills.

This is by far the best pickle ball place to play at. They are so professional and welcoming. I’ve played in a good number of leagues which are run perfectly. They accommodate everyone. We actually have a group that play every Sunday night and have never had a problem (trust me our group is 40 plus people and everything runs smoothly and everyone has a great time). The staff is so friendly from the moment you walk in. Thank you for everything.

Started playing pickleball back in June of this year. Have been taking weekly womens drill sessions with Coach Cristobal. I wanted to be sure to take some sort of guided classes to ensure I didn’t pick up bad habits. He’s a great coach. Very patient and does a wonderful job observing your style and making corrections to ensure your technique is correct. He’s also now doing private sessions for my granddaughter and my niece as well. Refreshing to see that they have coaches that don’t just teach the game, but also play at a high level.
