Stoner Recreation Center

Stoner Park is truly a wonderful place for families. There is something here for everyone. The skate park is great, and it’s surrounded by so many other amenities that make it a perfect day spot. The park has a dog park, tennis courts, basketball courts, and a swimming pool. There are also barbecue grills, which makes it an ideal place for birthday parties, Fourth of July gatherings, or just spending quality time with family and friends. While the kids are skateboarding or playing tennis, you can relax or enjoy time with your dog at the dog park …..everyone gets to do what they love in one place. One of my favorite parts is the ice cream truck. It’s not your average ice cream truck ….it sells all kinds of goodies: food, candy, delicious snow cones, and even grip tape for skateboarders. The coolest part is that there’s a skateboard on top of the truck, which just adds to the fun, unique vibe. The owner of the ice cream truck is an amazing man. He spoke so kindly about my son, who has been coming to the park for a long time. Hearing how respectful and kind my son has always been truly warmed my heart. Moments like that mean more than words can say. If you’re looking for a place where your son or daughter and the whole family can enjoy themselves, Stoner Park is a fantastic choice. This park has everything for every child. Park and play area for little ones set in sand so they don't hurt themselves if they fall. A skater park for the skateboarding teenagers and this summer we used the outdoor swimming pool for the first time!

When it's crowded you can't swim but when it's not it's perfect. Classes are on and off during the day. Super fun for the kids. Sprinklers and a big water slide. You need to come wearing your bathing suit if not be prepared to show that you have one. They won’t let you in without a suit. There are no benches to sit. You have to bring your own or just throw a towel on the floor. Small playground outside.

Love this park!!!! The water park is really clean and nice!!! The ice cream truck has good treats for the Kiddos.

This place is cheap for public pool for the kids. It is $1 for kids and $3 for adults. It has a very shallow end like going to the beach where you walk into the water and it gets gradually deeper. Perfect bringing my 6 month toddler who can only sit in the 3 inch water and slash. It goes up to maybe 1.5 deep unless you cross to the other side that is still only 3.5 feet. It does have a 2 storey water slide but I think you have to be 6 and up to use it. When I went there was at least 6 life guard on duty. They have a lot of public lockers and changing rooms. They are very strict on that everyone entering has to have a real bathing suit no street clothes.
