South Side Lions Park

The trails are well maintained and wide. There is a lot of shade but some areas are a little more secluded so its good to be aware of your surroundings.

Huge egrets, herons, ducks, geese, and a very furtive ground bird. Partly cloudy day with nice reflections in the water. Three different fishermen pulled up pretty large catfish from the bank. And not too hot today.

Bad thing is some people that come here don't clean up after themselves. It's a nice place to be with family or go by yourself

Great for fishing and birding. Pot a potty available. Playground available.

Fishing was ehh ok I guess I caught 1 catfish. I'm new to the Texas area and the spot reminded me of home. The swimming pool side was gooooood I brought the whole family my son 11 and wanted to dive of the diving board. life guards always on point
