South Maple Park

Nice sized park with a field, playground, tennis courts and a basketball court. No bathrooms. Lots of trees that essentially cut the park in half. The playground equipment is ok but the place is pretty run down. There’s trash everywhere, overgrown grass and weeds as well.

Reviewing the pickleball courts: The courts are in so-so shape, they look worse than they actually play. Being right next to 94, it’s quite noisy. But overall not that bad considering there aren’t many other free outdoor pickleball options in town. I wouldn’t go out of your way to come here. But if it’s your only option, it’s good enough.

One of the dirtiest parks I’ve ever seen- playground equipment and park benches are very outdated and some benches are even broken/missing wooden boards. There is now a sign that this is going to be renovated soon but unclear when this is happening. More frequent park maintenance is needed regardless

Solid 4.2. Spacious green space to fly a kite and take a walk. Nice tennis courts as a nice alternative to Veteran Memorial Park.

Pickle ball courts need to get renovated. Pretty run down.
