Simmons Park

Beautiful park right across the street from the police department. My kids and I had a little picnic last Sunday. The parking spots were pretty packed, so people were parking on the grass in between the trees. Plenty of tables and shade. There is a little shelter with several picnic tables right next to the bathrooms, which were clean.

We recently had the pleasure of hosting a friend's daughter's birthday party at Simmons Park and Shelter Home, and it was a truly lovely time! The park facilities were a huge hit with our kids, who thoroughly enjoyed everything the space had to offer. The park itself is impressively large with wide-open, clean spaces, providing ample room for activities and play. The walkways are well-maintained and pleasant, perfect for a stroll. We particularly enjoyed seeing children happily playing under the open water fountain bath on what was a sunny day, adding a wonderful element of fun to the park. Open-gym and restrooms are also available. Park is just opposite to Aurora Police Headquarters

Love this little pickleball court here. Great place for a quick game.

Good park, people need to learn how to pick up after themselves.
