I’ve been a member of side out tsunami for a couple months now. The management and the changes they have made since they opened get worse and worse each month. The pros: - new faculty with new courts/nets. Lots of courts to play on. - Various slots of 3h open play throughout the day. - 4 options for open play (novice, intermediate, advance, elite) The cons: - There will be leaf blowers during your open play slots, without notice. Happy CO2 poisoning. (See pictures below) - Management will yell, yes literally yell at you to get off the courts once your 3h time slot ends. Joe, and older guy who works there will go around yelling at players to get off the courts. - They changed the app they use for players to sign up, they claim it’s better for everyone to better manage their open play. But the app is glitchy and is more confusing to use. I understand this is a fairly new faculty and management is still trying their best to work out the kinks and listen to their players/members. So I hope they get it together and quit making changes that negatively impact the players experience, both on and off the court.

Probably one of the best places to play pickleball in Seattle 🙌 Sideout Tsunami is a whole vibe — 25 courts, good people, and an energy that makes you want to stay all day. Whether you’re coming for community-based events or some competitive runs, they’ve really built a space that works for everyone. You can tell they care about the game and the people. They’ve got a solid lineup of coaches, a break room with vending machines (clutch between matches), and a nice pro shop with everything you need. The staff makes the whole experience even better — huge shoutout to Rhona for holding it down as manager, and to Brady and Guillermo for keeping things running smooth. If you’re visiting from out of town or just getting into pickleball, this is definitely the spot to check out. Seattle got it right with this one 👏🔥

Side Out Tsunami is the Costco of pickleball, a holy site with twenty five indoor courts under one massive roof. Step inside and it feels like you have entered pickleball heaven, where the Great Wall of Dinks stretches as far as the eye can see. The place is huge, with a parking lot so big you could land a 747. Inside you will find every amenity you can imagine, from gear shops to snacks, and probably a chiropractor if you look hard enough. This is not just a facility, it is a pilgrimage. If you live anywhere near Seattle and love pickleball, you owe it to yourself to come here.

Best court surface in town; 26 courts (9am on, it gets busy, and afternoon Open Play is tough to get in. Plan early, plan wisely); Spacious courts with fences and corridors; Chairs and tables near courts; Food lounge; A bit clunky app interface with frequent changes, but still one of the best courts in town; Competitive players; Open play by level; In-house coaches; Lots of tournaments and events; A pingpong table!; Soon a beer garden!; Fabulously helpful and patient staff; CourtReserve app required
