Schottland Family YMCA

We just rejoined after a year at another gym, may I compliment the whole staff, everything looks great and it looks like a fine running machine, my only concern as it was when last were members, "IS" the floors in the locker rooms, pool area and steam room, I think it “a must” that they be cleaned and sanitized nightly/daily, maybe even the floor machine might work nicely...yesterday we witnessed an older fella cleaning/vacuuming under all the weight equipment, it was wonderful to see. My first time to a gym like this! H as key card identifies you as you entered! I had gone online signed up fit silver sneaker. Then had to sign up at the desk to get my key-card. Next time get braclet at the desk to go on the equipment! Did use some machine, the standard bike, the up & down for the knees that glides & slides, & not sure if sign what machine it was. But could pull for resistance for all over work out. Has pool, steam room & saunas. One area that has bikes you ride with a screen to what ever country you want! Free coffee anytime! Just an huge, impressive Gym!

You will not find a better gym than the YMCA. Its beautiful, resourceful, and so good to be a part of.

Awesome pool area for the kids, great work out space for the adults. The turf, rock wall and basketball courts are great for the family too. Overall a beautiful facility.

The Schottland YMCA in Pittsford's facility is beautiful! The staff is ALL very nice. We are thrilled to be able to access the whole facility, and it was truly one of the reasons I moved my family to Rochester, from Auburn, NY. I've started swimming again which I'm thrilled about. My kids will be enjoying the basketball court, have already used the pool and they will be frequent weekend guests at the childcare and the game room! Thank you so much!!Carmela Barbagallo
