We spotted the new Pickleball courts from Grant Road and had to check this park out! Not only are the courts clean & new but it's not totally swamped yet, however we tried to get a court on Sunday evening and it was full. Bring your own chair as there's no seating in the court area. There is also a nice pavilion with a huge smoker/grill that people can use for parties. I love the paved walking trails and there are a couple of parking lots, one is further down the road. Definitely a well maintained park and we hope to be back soon!
Great park for a walk, scooter, skate, or short bike ride! Lots of shade, big pavilion near the play ground and restrooms near the entrance from Grant Rd. Drive further in and there's more parking but it is far from the main front part of the park. At the very end of the road, there is a big parking area with entrance for more walking on an old concrete road. This road loops around and is probably about 1 mile around.
This park is very nice! There are great paved trails through the shady pines but not lost in the woods with benches every once in a while. I'm very excited there are public restrooms, lots of picnic tables, a huge smoker for cooking, and a large parking lot. The main road in appears to go back where I'm not sure what else they will be doing. It borders the Cypress Creek so I'm thinking it may be more trails.
This is truly a little gem of a park. The play ground is awesome, there is also walking trails. I’m excited for the pickleball courts.
Interesting large park with long stretches of shaded paved trails, a covered pavilion and nice playground for the kids. Look closely and you'll see feral decorative plants everywhere left over from when this was a busy subdivision 40 years ago. One loop on the main road (pedestrians and cyclists only) is 1.5 miles, almost all shaded.
