Roberts Park

Good spot to let your dogs play and walk.

A cool little playground in a nice spot at its park, nestled into a semicircular grove of tall trees. The playground is modern equipment and has three different styles of rock walls to climb up and a 2-story tube twister slide. There’s also a second smaller playground right next to it for the little kiddies.

Great playground! Some of the equipment gets hot in the sun, but you can just bring a towel to sit on.

I'm 73 and grew up with in a block on Gatling St. Their large family house was used by the city and community for dances, crafts, tutorials, baseball games and a lot more. There is a big history to this area of town.

I live close to this park it's pretty well-maintained and the playgrounds are pretty nice. Sometimes the parties are a bit hard to handle, but if there isn't a big loud birthday party going on that day then the parents and kids there are quite nice to hang out with. The neighborhoods is a bit rough however, so I do not recommend you leaving your kids there alone or letting them walk to the park.
