Fun park for the family with large reservable pavilion for gatherings! Salem Creek Greenway access as well for walking, running, or biking!
Ive went here long before it was a park. When you could jump off the cliff and go swimming. Or walk or mountain bike down to the bottom and go fishing! Hate that they dont allow you to go down to the water and built a fence around it... but then again.... you never were allowed. It was just a secret spot then, secluded back in the woods....
Fantastic Park to bring the family. There's a playground and a water features that your kids will love. There's also actually very nice bath house which showers lockers as well as a bottle fill station and water fountain. This is right off the Greenway and a great place to cool off. I will say that the water features are very high in chlorine though. There's also a picnic shelter that can be used for parties.
The review of the century: we found a bunny here. Not the typical wild rabbit. We saw a gray thing moving around in the leaves. We knew something was … weird. We were intrigued. We had no idea what it was at first. My boyfriend walked over and his mouth fell open. A clearly domesticated and emaciated holland lop rabbit with 2 inch long nails. He went to pick him up & the bunny just let him. We knew he was coming home with us, as we have two other bunnies. We nursed him to health, he now has a brother and a sister (our other two bunnies). He’s been fixed, healthy and happy since he’s found his forever home. And, he’s named after this park. His name is Reynold (Rey Rey is his nickname) and he is LOVED. 🥰 We don’t know if he was dumped or escaped, but from his extremely chill demeanor we assume he was dumped. He is the most relaxed loving rabbit in the world.
A really fun 🏞️ park for kids and families right across from the ⛳ golf course and in front of Quarry Park. There is a ⛲ splash pad, swimming pool, 🧺 picnic area, recreation center and ample parking. Feels very safe during the day but can feel a little unsafe in the evening. They do have ♿ handicap accessible parking and ramps here as well.
