I recently received a Christmas gift that was bought from this retailer at the beginning of the month. Unfortunately, by the time I received it, the item was beyond the 21-day return window from the order ship date, making it unreturnable. I reached out to customer service hoping for some understanding and assistance, but I was met with a firm no. There was no willingness to make an exception or provide any form of solution for this situation. This experience has left a sour taste, highlighting a significant flaw in their customer service approach. It's frustrating when retailers stick so rigidly to policies without considering the context or showing any flexibility, especially during the holiday season when gifts are commonly involved. I recommend dealing with retailers who prioritize customer satisfaction over strict adherence to policy. This incident has certainly made me reconsider future purchases from this store.
Purchased a T shirt online that I needed the day of as a gift for my out of town mother that I was going to see and went to their HQ/ warehouse to see if I could pick it up rather than wait for shipping. I don't think driving to their warehouse for picking up an online order is typical but the founders and Recess team greeted us and were super nice. Awesome small business and glad to support

I live in Austin, so maybe this isn't common, but I ordered a 2-paddle set and received my kit 24 hours later. Love it!
