Membership cancellation is quite a nightmare. It was not clear to me that they have a 30-day advanced notification to cancel the membership when you signed up the membership. Cancellation is not available on their website, and you have to go in person. If they charge you on 10th each month and you cancel on 11th, they still charge you for two more months. Even though one of the front desk guys said only 1 more month, ending up with 2 more months if you miss just one day of the billing cycle.
Good place, good games, but there 30 day cancelation fee caught me off guard. Most gyms or businesses I have ever been involved in let me cancel with the next billing cycle. I canceled today on 10/8 and I have to pay next billing cycle on 11/1. So that means my last day will be 12/1. Again most places I have been involved with would have not billed me 11/1. It is ok as I should have no assumed. But I will never come back to them as well as let others know about there money grab with this stupid 30 day cancel policy. Plenty of other pickleball indoor to choose from that are better and I will make sure to let anyone know if they ask me about this place. Thanks.
Played on: July 12, 2025 We stopped by Pickleball Kingdom while passing through Chandler and were really impressed. Beautiful indoor courts (15 total with outdoor-style surfacing) and strong A/C—much appreciated in the 112° heat! The front desk girl was super kind and helpful, and the players we met were welcoming and fun. The paddle stack area felt a little tight with how many courts they’ve fit in, but it’s clear they’ve maximized the space well. One thing we especially appreciated as traveling rec players: they offer multiple beginner open play options, with newer players grouped in the back so everyone feels comfortable. That kind of intentionality isn’t always easy to find. Overall, it was a great drop-in experience. Glad we made the stop! Excited for this place to go under so the space be can used to better serve our community. Indoor pickleball is a VC funded plague. Stick to outdoor courts and enjoy the beautiful weather.
Customer service is absolutely terrible. Not the first time it had happened to me either. Keith at the front desk (not sure if he’s a manager) danced around me and my friends question as he was trying to charge them $15 per hour when open play for 4 hours cost $15. I told him the customer service absolutely sucks and his response was “that’s fine”. It cools down in the next month or so and my membership along with the 3 people I referred here are going to cancel. Good riddance to this place. If you are thinking about joining DO NOT. Picklr in Tempe and center court in Gilbert are actually worth it and the staff is curteous.
