Pickleball Courts | Rengstorff Park

3 pickleball courts here! Not enough but we make it work. The courts are okay, you should expect few of your serves to go dead as if the ball hits the cracks! But I am sure one of these days the city of Mountain View will fix the courts. Today we got a new chair brought in and installed, which is nice. I like how the city is looking after their citizens. I just hope that one day the Tennis Advisory committee can get on board with sharing one or two of their tennis courts to have Pickleball lines painted over. Because our pickleball courts don’t have lights and we basically have to leave when it gets dark, since the Tennis courts Lights are shining to your eyes and they blind you and cannot continue playing. I cannot wait for the day, that we are all sharing our spaces and play side by side, like a community we are.
Nice dedicated pickleball courts. There is also a practice wall. The restroom is not so pleasing though
people were friendly, the court looked weathered but was very clean and worked well.
Fun laidback space with welcoming community. We played a few games with others in the community. They also have a sharing system to rotate players when the courts get busy so everyone is able to play without a reservation.
There are two permanent courts with permanent nets. One permanent court with a portable net. There are also 6 overlay courts on the tennis courts in a nearby area (very short walk away). All are in pretty good condition. All courts were active.
