This is a gorgeous park and I commend the county for building it. My major complaint is no forethought on the pickleball courts. There are no nets or fences between courts, and no hinged gates between sections. You spend half your game chasing your good shots or stopping for other people's shots. This is also a major safety Hazzard as people trip and fall from balls rolling in from behind. The nets are also raised off the ground, so balls roll under them. This place would be ten stars if they didn't cheap out and put dividers between courts. Makes this place impossible to play without them. Most other facilities on the east coast have fences between and gates behind, to keep every safe and keep balls in your court.

A few houses located not too far from the courts, perhaps that is why no lights were installed for the Pickleball courts. Otherwise, these courts are great

Great location &easy to book online. Downside is we've had people who hadn't booked in advance playing a full-blown game on our court upon arrival and continued to play several minutes into the time slot with no concern for anyone else. Am all about doing your thing, but it's a bit unfair to those who went to the trouble of reserving in the first place. Have also had people ask if they could join in playing because they hadn't already reserved online.

Pretty well maintained. 4 open courts and 4 reservable. There are always friendly people to play with. Easy restroom access.

Great courts, even better people. Do your best to get there when the sun is not beaming because there is not much shade. The local groups there are very open to newcomers and will include you if you want to be a part of the group. If not just grab a pickup game and come back when you can.
