One of the nicest indoor pickleball facilities I’ve been to — and I don’t say that lightly. The moment you walk in, the vibe hits you. It’s artsy, clean, and cozy in a way that lowkey feels like how I’d want my own home to be. Everything feels intentional and well thought out, not just thrown together to be “another court.” Beyond the courts, the lounge area is a huge plus. Comfy seating, fast Wi-Fi, big-screen TVs, and a game room with classics and board games make it easy to hang around before or after playing. This spot is clearly built for community, not just quick games and dip. They’ve also got a fitness studio, sauna, and a kitchen + wine bar, which makes it perfect for events, corporate outings, or just a full-on social hang. Located in the heart of Oakland (on the better side), and it was great running into some familiar faces while our team toured the space. Hours are super convenient (8am–10pm daily), pricing is straightforward for both court bookings and open play, and the overall experience feels premium without being stuffy. If you’re looking for Oakland’s indoor pickleball social club — this is it. Courts, vibes, and community all in one place. Would 100% come back.

I joined last week! Love love love everything about PA, pickleball courts, the weight room, sauna, all the lounge areas! And most of all the staff are so friendly and make great sandwiches and tea! What an amazing place! I got to play for a couple hours last week and the courts felt great underfoot with plenty of room overhead. The owners were understandably busy but still made time to meet and welcome us. I didn't come early enough for coffee nor stay late enough for a drink, but for sure will be back again. If I lived nearer, I would've jumped at the Founder 50 membership. With the commute, I'll have to figure out my sweet spot. Go play!

Tl;Dr… an awesome new addition to Oakland that accomplishes what it sets out to do with an exciting outlook. Time will tell if the Oakland Pickleball community will find their way into buying a membership for what is a high end feeling establishment that is in a part of town thats… not so high end. Important: they have a parking lot… so park there vs. the street if you’re driving! Quick Pros: it’s closer to most folks vs. alternatives in Alameda and Treasure Island/SF and way more affordable than some of Oakland’s high end Tennis Country Clubs. So first off… this place is great! Amazing staff, lots of attention to detail, and 4 pickleball courts that are perfect for pickleball :) The bar and lounge areas are top notch and well decorated and has way more of a social feel than any other pickle/padel spots that set out to do the same. The gym… is small AND that’s ok… because they did the right thing and set the expectation that this is a great spot to do a post or pre game workout vs. being a gym you would go to frequently. There’s a second floor that has a lot of potential and what I think will make or break the future of this place as whatever ends up there… can be the cherry on top to come here for more than just pickleball. What a gem to add to Temescal. The facility is flawless with comfortable and well decorated lounge area, bar seating, and some sauna/workout amenities. The four indoor courts are great and while it was easy for us to book a full 90 minutes the courts were definitely popular and almost all courts always.
