Pershing Field Tennis Courts

4 well maintained hard surface tennis courts at the northwest corner of Pershing Field Park in Jersey City Heights. The nets are good and no cracks on the courts, always a plus! They are lit but there are not enough lights (a few need bulb changed) to fully illuminate the courts so it can get tricky at times to see the ball. During the warmer months there is always a wait during peak hours 🎾 There are restrooms behind the baseball diamond 🚻 👍

Beautiful Garden. only one problem in garden is that Rest rooms are closed in early morning.

There are 5 hard courts. Better bounce than many other courts around the locality. In the evenings, it gets a bit busy, but otherwise easier to get courts.

It’s tooo crowded be it 8 in the morning or 10 in the night. Hope there can be some timed entry system. People use public property to give private coaching lessons which is quite annoying.
