My husband and I visited this facility during our short stay in Roanoke. The courts were awesome as were the people. Everyone was kind and welcoming. We attended an open play on a Tuesday from 9 AM -12 PM. We did visit during the week of Christmas so that morning there weren’t too many people but everyone was telling us that in the afternoon/evenings there is a really nice crowd. We weren’t able to revisit again later in the evening, but next time we go back to Roanoke, we will definitely be going to this place again!
Great facility. Love the indoor courts. Staff is friendly. I like that they have a lot of organized activities (of all levels of play) outside of just open play. I have taken a few lessons there and found them very helpful. They have an app for signing up for events, open play or lessons making it easy to know what’s going on. They have yummy food and beverages as well which is a nice bonus to playing there.
We were visiting family after Thanksgiving weekend and wanted to play pickleball. We searched online and found this PB paradise. We were welcomed by Mackenzie who gave us information and let us play for free since it was very quiet because it was middle of the day on a Monday. Mackenzie contacted some of Performance Pickelball’s members to see if they’d be interested in playing Tuesday afternoon. She texted me that they’d be there and we had a great time playing with such fun people! Drop in at Performance Pickelball and be treated like family. The courts are well maintained, they have food and drinks. And the crew there is awesome.
My happy place!! Do yourself a favor and come check it out. They host Fundamental Fridays for those just learning the game, and weekly events you can join to play with members at similar skill levels. It’s a great place to play and then eat/drink/socialize afterwards, they have 6 big screens for football watching and a really good food and drink selection! They even have a little kid corner with books and toys- so bring the whole fam :) It’s truly a pickleball paradise for beginners AND advanced players - all are welcomed into this amazing little community
The facility is top notch. The courts are fantastic. The people are really nice too. The private coaches are phenomenal. Tyler Reburn and Tim Cass are both great instructors. There is also a bar and grill in there. I have not tried it yet, but hope to soon. It is just a fun place to learn how to play pickleball and actually have what you learn translate to the courts.
