Nice park. Has a couple tennis courts that need a little TLC, but are still in pretty good shape. A soccer field, walking track, and a few porta pottys. Plenty of parking on both sides. 👍👍

I am overwhelmed with grief for an incident that happened at parkland graduation at the coliseum. I attended 2 graduations one for Mount Tabor at 8 am and the other for parkland high School at 11am. Mount I had no problem parking with Mount Tabor, however after I returned from getting a bite to eat the parking for the fairground entrance was closed off. People were directed to park at the entrance where the allegacy ticket office is location. It was quite a distance to walk to where the graduation took place. A lady walking behind me passed out I and a few other assisted in trying to help her. Later found out she died. As I continued my journey to attend my granddaughter's graduation, I passed several people struggling to get to their family member graduation: a young girl on crutches, a few people in wheelchairs, several with walkers. Once I saw an officer I was somewhat out of breath and upset i made mention about what was going on because the parking lot near graduation was almost empty. I was told they just opened that parking lot.People received green stickers for handicap parking and couldn't use them. My heart goes out to the young lady who was graduating and the family of the lady who passed away going to the graduation.

Decent little park. I came here to walk on the walking trail because it was closer to my house. The bathrooms are gross (no running water or soap to wash your hands...) but what do you expect at a public park? The trail is partially paved, not very long, goes in a loop, and is somewhat shaded. This park is very quiet, not one of the nicer parks in WS, but it'll do the trick if you want to take your kids out for a bit. There's a tennis court nearby too that was open and mostly empty when we visited.

Update: During school hours stay very alert!! Also, porta-potty does Not seem to be well tended to. This is a great park depending on what you are doing. It has a nice track (to walk or run), great tennis courts and a field for kickball or whatever. Bathrooms are not often open (there is a porta-john available now). I've never seen the water work. Very nice playground area, but there is absolutely no shade over the playground area, so pretty much all summer it's off limits unless you go early.

If you go there go there early morning. If you go in the evenings, the I.Q. of the people there is terrible. They walk their dogs with out leashes. The leave trash everywhere. They also do not pick up their pets waste as well. Needs to be policed more. The morning crowd are excellent people. Friendly and inviting.
