Ocean Air Community Park and Recreation Center

This Ocean Air Community Park and Recreation Center is truly fantastic. Every week, they arrange different indoor activities, and all facilities are free to use—including badminton, pickleball, basketball, taekwondo, and more. There's also an outdoor play area for kids and a large park. If you love sports, you definitely shouldn’t miss this place!

My family comes here weekly to use the outdoor basketball courts and adjacent field. The field is rough and needs some maintenance as many others have mentioned. It looks like they are upgrading some areas on the other side of the gym as they have some fencing up for many weeks. Let's hope they work on the field next.

Recreation center, playground, picnic areas, ball fields/courts have something for everyone. I used the property as an access point to the Carmel Mountain Preserve's hiking/biking trails. There are no restrooms or trash receptacles on the trails so please use the facilities available at the recreation center before and after your time on the trails.

Fantastic community park. This facility has a full size gymnasium for basketball and other sports activities, meeting rooms, kitchen and well maintained restrooms. The staff is very nice, and always willing to assist with questions. The large green park has multiple charcoal grill areas and picnic benches. Our kids love to come here and ride bikes, swing and play on the play sets. Great for hosting birthdays or gatherings.

Nice park with room for gatherings and play ground for the kids to play at. Lots of all gender restrooms next to a baseball/ softball field.
