Oak Tree Tennis Courts

The tennis courts are available for free and in pretty decent shape for beginners as well as advanced players. Some courts in the back have cracks, which can playing difficult. With fall approaching and the area surrounded by trees, it will be difficult to play there after 1st Oct, as the leaves will make the court slippery and dangerous. Use caution while playing in fall. Also, these courts have no lights to play late evenings, when the days get shorter.

2023-Jan update: Courts are now in just ok condition but is often packed during weekends. Probably one of the busiest courts in all of NJ. There's always people there even in the dead of winter as long as no snow is on the ground Town is replacing most of the fencing around the back 6 courts. Honestly the surface and nets were in much greater need of work than the fencing. Work is still in progress. Hope they at least replace the nets.

Nothing much changed, poor maintenance and no light makes these beautiful courts playful only when sun is shining. I request Edison mayor to install lights here so that people can play longer, much smaller neighboring town Metuchen has courts with light, can't understand why Edison can not do this.

Courts are decent, few cracks on very last courts. Always seems to be packed during daylight. Night lights would definitely help.

8 courts in heart of Edison. Very popular and occupied quick especially during spring and Summer. You will find kids having group lessons, private tennis coaching and groups playing here. Only draw back there are no lights.
