The great thing about this playground is that it is small enough for you to keep 2 children in view. The swings are suspended pole swings, not the traditional type. This is not a playground for young toddlers. I'd recommend 3.5 years old up to 7. This playground is also in the shade! There are covered picnic tables. I would give this playground except the public restrooms are terrible and not clean. Would not use them, so "plan ahead."
Great pickleball courts. High level of play, but there are plenty of courts so any level can play! Nice system for understanding who plays the next game. They also have hooks so you don't have to put your stuff on the ground.
Small, quiet, wooded. Seems like it's in a good area or neighborhood. Direct access to the greenway or off the Greenway. There's tennis or pickleball courts, not sure which. There's also a softball field right there. Covered area for events, which is what brought us there a school friend's birthday.
I recently visited Holly’s nest with my family. What an amazing place and resource for our state. I had no idea it was as extensive as it is. We were treated with a personalized tour with Byron and Kim and of course, all of their eight dogs in tow. They are incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about their work. They rely entirely on donations, so please give to this very important cause and work.
We were in the north hills area, and we accidentally chanced upon this playground! It is an absolute fun place, nestled in the woods. All the equipment is brand new and there are a host of fun equipment that children can play on. My kids really had a blast.
