Murphy Playlot

Cool Park. We go there with the kids to see the Detroit Fireworks. Its pretty low-key and is a safe fun place to take the kids. There is a building blocking the exact view of the fireworks but when its time for them to begin all you have to do is walk a block up. We go to that park around 2pm on firework day. So its a great place to wait until they begin. Clean, appropriate, well fenced, benches, bring a grill, play port, slide, basketball court swings, etc.

This is one of my favorite places to bring the kids. It's closed in, but all visible so it's easy to keep an eye on the littles without having to run around like crazy. There is a basketball court too. Huge bonus, the amazing Mudgie's is right next door and their food is sooo good!

I was pleasantly surprised to see such a nice playground in Detroit 👍🏻
