Beautiful park with paved and natural trails. A breath of fresh air right in the city; blessed with a waterfront view with a small beach, pier and restrooms. I enjoyed this park and may God bless the people that keep it. My favorite tree the Japanese maple has been planted all around. Enjoy the park with the locals. God loves you. If you seek Him with all your heart, you will find Him.
We went to Baker park to watch the blue Angels. The entire beach area is fenced off. People were able to sit on the skinny grass area which was not grass anymore. It was completely ruined and basically packed dry mud and hay. It would have been a lot nicer if the grass area was watered sometimes so at least it would be nice to sit on. A very strong urine odor throughout the area will make this an experience to remember.
Mt. Baker Park is a long stripe of wooded areas between the Mt. Baker Beach and the play area on McClellan St, connected through a paved trail. The swimming beach with beautiful lake view is a great place to chill or have some outdoor fun; the playground on the south side has different structures for kids of different age. There is very little in between though, just a nice trail to hike/run through.
This place is perfect for relaxing. The beach is legitimately all sand so no killing your bare feet it's very easy to watch young children from the benches, there's a bathroom, and a pier. This is by far my favorite little beach.
This park is so gorgeous, and the pickle ball courts were great. Very clean and well maintained, surrounded by tall, beautiful mature trees.
