Moon Park

Moon Park is a expansive 300 acre recreational hub that serves as a central community gathering spot in Moon Township. It is highly regarded by visitors for its blend of well maintained natural spaces and modern amenities, making it a versatile destination for families, fitness enthusiasts, and event organizers. My kids love this park! These photos were taken before fall.

The park is really kid friendly. There is all kind of swings, slides and stuff. They have a splash pad for kids. There are multiple baseball/softball fields, tennis and pickleball courts, walking trails and a fishing pond. The park has multiple places to have a small picnic and also some pavilions. We visited this park on 6/20/25.

A very nice and spacious park that is located far enough away to feel tranquil, but close enough to the airport to see planes flying overhead to land. My children met with my nieces and nephew and our family for a birthday play date, and they all had a great time. There are multiple playgrounds and swings and what not throughout the large park area, and each area is a bit different in activities and themes, so it's a good place for kids who get bored with smaller play areas. There are also sports courts throughout, including a cool little mini baseball/softball field near the one large playground. Overall, it is big enough to keep any kid happy for a long while, as well as give any family some room if things start to feel too crowded in any of the areas. Definitely worth a stop if you are in or around the Moon area, and have kids who could use some outdoor fun and adventure. 🚀🌛

This park was very well kept and active, with nice trails. It made for a great pit stop to stretch our legs on a long drive. The commitment to the space theme was very enjoyable.

It's a great park my kids love going there and there alot of different equip to play on and they keep it clean
