Millwood Park

Free parking. Next to fire department. Covered picnic table area. Grill by tables. Lots of additional benches. Water fountain. Bathrooms. Double tennis courts. Double basketball courts. Large grass area for free play. Next to train tracks which can be fun for kids. Also nice to bicycle trail. Pet friendly. Splash pad. Swings. Lots of monkey bars. Smaller children, section and older area play set. Well maintained. 

This park is perfectly designed and maintained. Thank you for who ever does the job. It's always clean. The public restrooms are very clean too.

Nice playground, park is clean, spacious, safe, and well maintained for the most part. But I do need to express my concern and frustration with the kids' pool. It's extremely slippery, making it very dangerous for little ones to swim. Regardless of how cautious kids and parents may be, kids are still at risk of slipping, falling, and seriously injuring themselves. Additionally, the pool is shallow and there is a rim surrounding the entire pool, which makes it even more gnarly. Also, the lane around the pool is equally slippery. It's an easy fix for the City of Millwood, and I am surprised nothing has been done yet. I took my son there two weeks ago, and he fell in the pool and hit his head. Please place rubber mats inside and around the pool, as well as over the rim. Make it safe for the kids, rather than blaming the parents or the kids themselves. I understand the park is old, but something should be done about it. Take action before someone gets seriously or permanently hurt!

Have been going to this park for over 30 years and it has greatly improved over the years. They really should add the mini pool back into the playground. It was like 2 feet deep but the memories were awesome! Has bathrooms, playground equipment, tennis courts and pavilions to sit in. Lots of room for gatherings or play dates.

I love the wonderful Millwood park! It's trees are well established and provide a shady area for relaxing. Picnic tables are available, with a wading pool and splash pad along with the usual playground equipment. It's a very well maintained park with clean restrooms. Pack up your little's and a lunch and enjoy a day at the Millwood park. You won't be sorry!
