SAT 2025.~06:20, when i arrived, the gate was still closed. And so i went to the CATS Park & Ride to wait. A minute or 2 later, the Park Ranger arrived and opened the gate, and i followed in, parked, and then headed out for a walk (~6+ mile CW-Loop) of the Park, and the neighborhood. No "epic" views, but that's alright by me .. i am happy for the few minutes of peace and sweet solitude in with Park. The Park and the neighborhood were well-kept, nice and clean.
Cute little nature trails through the woods that connect various sports courts- tennis, basketball, soccer, baseball, a playground. I think the only bathrooms are porta-potties though. Perfect for just a quick bit of forest bathing.
Nice walking trail. Could use an updated playground. It's been the same since I was a kid: editing this review 4 years later, The park has been updated with awesome workout equipment and a picnic table area. Love it!!
Quite possibly the worst soccer fields I’ve ever seen in Charlotte. Limited parking and spectator spots.
Nothing there a small jungle gym and some seemingly houseless ppl
