This place has been upgraded and expanded since I was a kid. It is nice now. The neighborhood is rough but there are security guards on site. I felt safe. Has a cafe, suana, hot tub, pool, basketball courts, game room, and huge weight room. Clean.
I like this YMCA branch. All the workers are friendly and you feel at easy. I also like the cleanliness. BUT, please make some rules. For example post a sign that says after all the sweating in the sauna, you can’t jump straight into the swimming pool. There should be a sign that says rinse before getting into the pool. Also, please don’t come in the sauna with your outside shoes. And then step on the wood we sit on. Please rules must be set.
We need more programs like this one to keep our children busy, exercising, and learning great things in a safe environment. The group in charge of the kids were great and I'm so happy that my children had the opportunity to participate. Thank you M Santiago
Alyssa is truly an amazing swim professional! I did the free adult swim lessons and MAN I’m literally emotional about leaving! Her class, willingness, technique, and patience are one of a trillion. I can back float, back swim, front swim and I even went in the deep end. Beginner however, Haven’t done that since I was a pre teen! I’m in my 30’s. I loved this lesson segment and it inspired me to get a pamphlet for adult swim courses. Thanks Alyssa and Omar oh and all the others that helped! I have had an PHENOMENAL summer 2025! Real tears ❤️
Overall I have to say the cleanliness is what turned me away. There was what appeared to be a large handful of hair in the pool. In the locker area it was just as unpleasant. The staff was very helpful and always tried to go out of their way. The computer area the guy was amazing and that is the cleanest location. Sorry for this review but it's the truth
