4 stars for nice machines -2 stars for use of space. I'd give your customer service 2 stars as well. I did not feel welcomed at all as a guest. It was VERY cramped. Machines stacked on top of eachother, like a Nautilus catalog threw up and everything was just squeezed in where it fit.. Not really anywhere to do power cleans. The one cage they have is...sad at best and too low to OH press in, if your on the outside you'd be in the path of travel of others. I think this is probably perfect for the slow and gentle population that comes here most often ~65+. I would not recommend this gym for anyone that is self conscious or lifts weights seriously. There's simply not enough space here to move without becoming a liability for someone or yourself.
I just went for the first time after living in Vancouver for 5 years. Wow, I have been missing out! There's tons to do, the pool and locker rooms were super clean, and everyone was very nice and helpful. This is the type of place I love to see in my neighborhood. I will be back!
We attend swimming lessons and open swim here frequently. Amber is an absolutely outstanding swim instructor. My littlest has excelled leaps and bounds with Amber as her instructor. The facility is great and all the other staff have been great as well.
They have a lot of stuff to do there's an art center there's an aerobics there's basketball there's swimming there's billiards and a variety of other things to do. You can even do pottery. The swimming pool has a 5 ft all the way down to two and a half foot area then there's another section that goes ten feed deep with plenty of Life guards on duty. They also have a nice park right next to it and plenty of parking. Outback they have a big building that you can rent for special functions.
Signed up my son for his first swimming class. He's on his second session and loves it. The instructors are great. It's fast and easy, both for parents and kids. Would highly recommend it. The viewing area is great. Only wish they had some kind of hair dryers in the locker rooms for the cold and rainy days.
