Lincoln Park Waveland Tennis Courts

I cleaned up as much of this amazing park as I could today! It was a great experience and had some kind people thank me for my work! It’s always worth helping when I can!

Not bad but the night lights should be upgraded for the south side 5 courts. Why did they only upgrade half of the courts?

Right off of Lakeshore Drive located in a huge park area with a golf course, baseball diamonds, bike route and more. You'll love it.

The north court surfaces are in rough shape. I wonder if the park district has considered resurfacing them as pickleball courts. They could easily fit 18-20 pickleball courts where they have the 10 tennis courts on the north side. Given that most rec pickleball is doubles, this would provide a greater public service.

People do not vacate their court on time. And people waiting in line just wait instead of a confrontation. Neither party follows any rules.😂On top of it, most of the courts are reserved by social groups all summer. If you like to hang your racket in line and wait till somebody vacates, this is your place to play tennis. 👍🏻🤷🏻‍♂️
