12-27-25 ❄️❄️❄️ a vast park, golf course and basketball, playground area, Tennis courts....a park for all ages. I just asked my phone the closest park to where I was, and this popped up. It is Winter. I love running in the Winter, but be careful... slippery and do not get lost 😬
Difficult to get to. Had to go through rt.14 traffic and then through a subdivision to reach the entrance. Seems to be to be geared for team athletic sports. Gravel parking is ample. Over all nice for large open space required activities. Little to no shade. Quite lovely. Good for kites and frisbees and sunscreen.
This is a massive park that is shockingly usually nearly empty. It has a nice basketball court, some tennis courts and pickleball courts (these are the only things I see used regularly), but also some baseball diamonds and large open fields. There's also one of the tallest hills I've seen anywhere in the area that could be used in the winter for sledding. I wish more people would take advantage of this beautiful park.
Cute open park with diamond field, bball and pickle ball courts. Not much else to do. I have run through the park but not great for running as no paths and running in the road to where people would park.
