The outdoor play area for kids is quite nice. It is not usually busy so it's a good place for toddlers even though it's for the age group 5 to 12. Also, the paved trail here is great for strollers and bicycles. We love walking down the trail up to Oakridge road and back.

Great little park. They have a baseball field soccer field. My grandson is playing flag football, so it's great for a bunch of 9 year olds to play. They have some trails that are paved, so you can walk around. I didn't get a chance to go into the main building, but I'm sure they are where classes are held. They do have porta potties but I wasnt brave enough to use them.

I enrolled my 10-year-old son at Leonard Recreation Center for summer camp and overall, it was a good experience. However, there were a couple incidents I had to address. I will not utilize this particular recreation center again due to a camp counselor denying my son access to use the bathroom. My son waited at least 30 minutes before asking another camp counselor and the original camp counselor interrupted the conversation to ask my son to continue to wait. It was at this moment, my son defecated on himself and I was called to bring him clothes yet no one explained what happened. My son informed me of the situation and the camp counselor was not at the camp for the next few days following the incident. I spoke with the head counselor about it, yet no updates which is why I am now leaving a written complaint. Parents beware of this facility for summer camp services as I cannot speak to the quality of any other services this particular facility offers.

We hiked the trail at this location. It is all paved. There are a couple of places to sit along the way. Nice trail. Creek beside the trail.

One of the chillest places I have encountered in the triad. A great rest area right off the highway or a nice scenic walk. Or you can let your offspring play at the park.
