Fantastic facility with varied and well maintained equipment. Spacious and clean locker rooms. Plenty of classes for adults and a great kids/teens program. Rock climbing, swimming, cold plunge, golf simulator, hot yoga - the list of amenities is endless. All the staff are fantastic from front desk, to child watch to the trainers. Best gym in the area by far.
I have wanted to love this place since the first time I saw it but I just don’t. Don’t get me wrong, the facility is large, modern and very nice. The main problem I experience is many members sitting on leg equipment for extended periods of time as if it’s their personal lounge chair. Often they are texting, taking selfies or just scrolling. This results in extended and unnecessary wait times for other members who want to use the equipment. I’ve discussed my concerns with management several times but there has been no noticeable improvement. I’ve resisted writing this review but this afternoon’s experience broke the camel’s back. I saw an employee who monitors the second floor sitting on a piece of leg equipment, idly scrolling his phone, actually contributing to the problem v doing something to help solve it. Otherwise, LNPC has some very nice services, well qualified instructors, good classes and pleasant employees. I haven’t used the men’s showers in over a year because they were dirty looking and smelly. I hope this has improved. In my opinion, LNPC would benefit from some nearby competition, challenging them to improve their operations and members’ experience. For now I keep my membership mainly because the location is convenient to home.
Excellent Facility with a Professional and Welcoming Environment As I complete my fourth week of membership, I’ve been very impressed with the overall quality and professionalism of this facility. The gym is consistently clean and well-maintained—the custodial team is attentive, frequently collecting towels and ensuring that the locker rooms and showers remain spotless. The front desk staff are courteous and solution-oriented. They’ve been especially helpful with the app, which I use to track workouts and follow personalized training routines. I’ve visited at various times—from early mornings to mid-afternoons—and while the gym can be active, it never feels overcrowded. The rules promoting respect and professionalism, such as using headphones for personal music and limiting phone use in workout areas, create a focused and comfortable atmosphere. What I appreciate most is the inclusive environment. Members of all ages and fitness levels work out here, and everyone seems motivated to improve themselves. While a few guests occasionally forget to return towels or clean equipment, the majority treat the space with care and respect. Overall, this is a well-managed, modern, and enjoyable fitness facility that promotes health, community, and professionalism. I highly recommend it.
My family and I have been members since March 2022. We originally chose this gym because of the Child Watch program, which helped us connect with the community after moving here with small children. In the beginning, the quality matched the price, but lately the value has declined while the monthly fee has increased to nearly $300 for our family of four. The weight area feels overcrowded, and part of it is now reserved only for in-house personal trainers. Equipment is often out of service, and cleanliness in the locker rooms and showers has noticeably declined. Activities such as Yoga, Pilates, and Swimming have always required extra payment, which makes the high membership fee even harder to justify. The class schedule also hasn’t changed much over time. Regarding the kids’ programs, the schedule now favors those living right in the Lake Nona/Laureat Park area, with activities starting around 4:30 p.m. Families coming from nearby neighborhoods like Moss Park, Sunbridge, or Kissimmee simply can’t arrive on time, which limits participation and seems this is the idea. The staff remains friendly and welcoming, but overall the experience no longer reflects the high cost. We’re considering ending our membership in 2026 and moving to a simpler gym where we can better invest in other family activities. It’s also disappointing to see management asking members to post five-star reviews while many are expressing valid concerns. I truly hope they take this feedback seriously and work to bring back the quality and community spirit that once made this gym special.
I really wanted to like Lake Nona Performance Club, but the value just isn’t there. For a gym that markets itself as a premium performance facility, the equipment selection is honestly one of the worst I’ve experienced. It’s limited, poorly thought out, and doesn’t align with the size or the price point of the space. The facility itself is large and visually impressive at first glance, but that’s where the positives end. You’re essentially paying a very high monthly fee for square footage rather than functionality. On top of that, the cleanliness in the bathrooms and locker areas consistently falls short of what you’d expect from a gym charging these rates. $150 per month for a single person membership. For serious training, strength work, or anyone expecting a true high-end experience, this gym misses the mark. There are far better options in the area that invest in quality equipment, cleanliness, and overall member experience. I’ll be canceling my membership and would encourage others to carefully consider whether the cost is justified because the value simply isn’t there.
