Kingsessing Recreation Center

I've lived in this area for probably 8 years now and I've traveled so far every Spring & Summer to play Tennis, only to find out that the courts here are in OK shape and they have a wall ball area. It's not as nice, needs some maintenance but it's available & local.

I take my daycare ctr kids there weekly for playtime. This center has been slightly revitalized. The pool is open daily for free swim and has nice lounge chairs setup for you to relax & enjoy a day with the kids at the pool. I do see the city comes out to sweep & clean up times. It has a basketball court area, tennis court and playground area for children.

i love playing foursquare here . sometimes there is sword fighting . the gay pickleball has really taken over though

Is this place even open anymore? i went there recently on a monday and there seems to be a gate around the entire place with no clear way inside

Early Morning at Kingsessing Rec Center is the best especially on a lovely day.
