John Ball Park

Small, quiet, and well kept park. There is a playground and single basketball hoop. Picnic tables and benches for sitting. Lovely tended trees, minus the Bradford Pears… No restrooms. Clean. Some very nice homes with neat gardens in this quaint and cheery neighborhood. Enjoy a peaceful lunch here. Be warned - Frequently see dogs come off leash.

So peaceful and quiet. Serene place to sit and enjoy the day.

I was very disappointed with the Park and the maintenance of it. I left a note on the bench regarding the park rules. Several people broke it. It makes me sad that so many cigarette buds were on the ground when kids are around. Perhaps community service is necessary. Or getting something established with the court system to decrease inmate time within the corrections facility. Thank you

If you Googled “pickleball court” and this place popped up, DO NOT go there. They don’t have a pickleball court.

Love taking my dog here to run off leash, throw ball, play catch, & lots of room lots of grass, several picnic tables, never many people, quiet
