Wow. What a find! My son and I drove nearly an hour from Orange County to try out clay courts for the first time and it was worth it. We reserved online the night before and paid the court fee when we arrived ($5/player for 1.5h as of June 2022). The staff person at the check-in window was kind and welcoming, and I didn't find the facilities to have the problems suggested in some other reviews. The courts were spectacular. And I liked how this facility seemed less like a rarefied country club and more just a place to enjoy playing tennis. We'll be back!
Nothong luxurious, but a well maintained, functional facility. Has 20+ clay courts, great for hosting tennis tournaments. However, it is not easy to see the players on the middle courts. Restringing services are available, which is great. There is no tennis shop, though. CVS, Starbucks, and restaurants are minutes away (in case you forgot sunscreen, water, or addicted to caffeine like me).
For a "Public Place" connected to a "Public Park", asking for money per player is nefarious. If you don't want people going into the court to play, I suggest closing the big gate, leave one entrance open, and have someone sit at the front door with a card swiper ready.
Nice facility, great courts with lights and dividers. Went on a Sunday and there was ample space! Edit: I also had a string pop on a new racquet and brought it here to be restrung. The turn around was very fast and they did an awesome job!
Courts are well maintained and the bathrooms are outdated but clean. All clay courts. Nice place to play. Covid update: I removed 2 stars because they have done a very poor job of enforcing social distancing and mask-wearing. There never seems to be a person who is really in charge. I've nicknamed it "covid courts" - their management really needs to be more responsible.
