Nice park, lots of paved walking paths with good views. Fairly clean public bathrooms. A bit of graffiti that needs to be cleaned up on poles and stuff, but overall nice park.
This is the best park I have visited so far. If you like to see the sunset this is the place from where you can enjoy the best view with sunset 🌇. There is lot of space for kids to play. Their is a basketball 🏀 coat also and space to place soccer ⚽
You can’t beat a park on top of a hill—the views are incredible. The upgraded playground is a big plus, and on a clear day you can see all of San Diego below. It’s connected to trails and has a huge open field, perfect for families, kids, or just finding your own space to relax.
Super place to take young children. Large sand pit with separate spaces for younger and older children. Wide variety of playground equipment including monkey bars, swings with child seats and a zip line. Relatively clean bathrooms. Wide open spaces with awesome view of local communities. Somewhat windy, however. Lots of wide parking spaces that are family car friendly. Nicely landscaped and well maintained. Adjacent to undeveloped areas.
This is a fully equipped park with party space for rent and for community events. Concrete walking paths that are laced on the side with exercise apparatuses and large gazebos with picnic tables, benches, and even trash cans for hot charcoal. There are basketball courts, table-tennis tables, clean restrooms and fully equipped kids sanded and soft cushioned play grounds. There is an entrance to hiking tracks that take you up the Black Mountain top that is dominated by large satellite dishes and antenna towers or its lower Miners Ridge over looking million dollar newly built homes. The park itself is high up on a hill top (hence the name) and breezy, over looking Carmel High School's and Black Mountain Middle School's football and baseball yards, surrounding residential neighborhoods, and spetacular views. Although the park closes at 7pm, 5 pm on the weekend , it is well lighted and there are people here playing basketball, walking, and playing late into the night! This park is very popular and a hidden gem for the locals!
