Swissarmy knife of parks. Fishing ✅ running ✅ hiking 10 minutes to 100s minutes ✅ letting children loose to explore ✅ beautiful views ✅ occasional birdwatching with osprey, eagle, hawk, falcon hunting near the lake ✅ koi the size of your dog ✅ connects to other parks in Dobbs ✅ hangout/party spot for high school kids ✅ occasional concerts or organized recreation near the lake ✅ next to the elementary school so you can drop off your child and go enjoy the park ✅ playground at the school thats adjacent ✅ pool adjacent to the park so you can do swimming bricks ✅ etc. I'm barely scratching the surface. This park punches above it's weight and the ROI is absolutely unbeatably in the 300 mile radius.
It had rained the day before there were some wet spot. Nice to bigfish, more than a foot long in the pond. Waze had a hard time finding the place. Google Maps did better.
Nice natural nature walk, not too long, not super busy which means its also more natural than it is manicured which is nice to feel like you are away from the surroundings.
Very peaceful and full of nature's best animals. A fine place to walk and reflect.
